WELCOME to KID2KIDCLOSET.

Kid2kidcloset is a local NON PROFIT with 501c status.
Members are asked to bring the clothing they can and take what is needed for their families at that time. There is no need to stock up or to take the next size because we do have swaps usually twice a month. Everything is always free. We have a great time meeting new people at swap too, so even if you are just looking to make new friends, come join us for a swap.
Kid2kidcloset also helps with special needs, baby items, baby food, shoes and much more. We also have many great events for back to school, haircuts, Jackets, Halloween, and Christmas. Kid2kidcloset is a proud member of the HDC Foundation, which mean we have many great sponsors that help provide many extras for the kids in this community. There is always something new at each swap, so please come and swap with us. We are proud to have started this group in April of 09. We started with clothing, but have been blessed to be able to help with baby items, school supplies, holiday help etc. If you are in need please contact us. We would be happy to help where we can.
KID2KIDCLOSET HAS BEEN AN INSIRATION TO MANY OTHER LOCAL COMMUNNITIES THAT HAVE ALSO STARTED SWAP GROUPS OF THEIR OWN. ITS A BLESSING TO KNOW THAT WE HAVE INSPIRED SO MANY.
We typically have one to two swaps a month. Please check the group Calendar for swap dates, times and address.
We service members of the local High Desert Community of Southern California. We ask that all members live locally in Victorville, Apple Valley, Hesperia, Adelanto, Phelan, Oak Hills , Palmdale, and Lancaster . All others are welcome if they are willing to make the drive.
We reserve the right to accept or deny any member at our discretion should we feel it necessary.THERE IS NO RESELLERS ALLOWED. IF WE FIND OUT YOUR RESELLING YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE GROUP.
DID YOU KNOW??
Did you know Donating used clothing for recycling or reuse has a multitude of benefits, not the least of which is reducing the heavy environmental impacts of disposing of textile waste and producing new clothing. To grow the cotton to make just one T-shirt requires 256 gallons of water according to the California Cotton Ginners and Growers Association. So why NOT recycle and reuse your clothing. Kid2kidcloset is a GREEN movement that will not only help you save money on your own childrens clothing, but will also help the environment. Help keep our community together and GREEN!!
